In this Workshop we invite you into the Landcare Community nursery to take a look at some of the key species used in restoration and enhancement plantings on coastal bush regeneration sites. Participants will learn about:

  • The main vegetation communities or coastal habitats we have in the region
  • When to consider planting
  • Social and environmental values of assisted restoration.
  • Which species should be planted where
  • Function of certain species in their preferred habitat
  • How to ensure a successful planting
  • Plant id tips
  • Propagation
