CHRL has been successful in gaining funding through CHCC Environmental Levy grants program to carry out property assessments on small landholdings of 2 -20ha.
The property assessments aim to increase the knowledge and capacity of landholders to better manage the environmental risks on their properties. Assessments include a walk around the property with a CHRL project officer and a written report providing information and recommendations on any key land management issues that were encountered. Property details can be kept on file and landholders notified by CHRL if any potential funding opportunities to address property issues arise.
