We’re thrilled to welcome our new Volunteer Support Project Officer, Rhianna Faithfull, or “Rhi”, to the Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare team! Joining us three days a week, Rhi will be supporting our amazing volunteers, Site Coordinators, and Landcare sites as we continue our mission to restore and protect our local environment.
Rhi brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent the last two years at Clarence Valley Council, where she was dedicated to protecting threatened species, restoring vital habitats, and engaging the community through education programs. Before moving to the Coffs Coast four years ago, Rhi ran an organic market garden on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. She also worked in bush regeneration, managing environmental restoration projects while supporting the employment of people with disabilities. In both of these roles, Rhi was deeply involved in community engagement, running workshops and working bees for volunteers eager to make a difference.
A hands-on, passionate advocate for collaboration, Rhi thrives on bringing diverse groups together to work and learn from each other. She’s incredibly excited to be part of Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare and looks forward to growing, supporting, and empowering our volunteer network as we continue to make an impact on our stunning natural environment.
Outside of work, Rhi feels incredibly lucky to raise her children on this beautiful Gumbaynggirr Country, calling Coffs Coast home. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find Rhi at the beach with her partner Tim and their two girls or turning their property in Woopi into a vibrant, edible landscape.
Rhi can’t wait to connect with our Landcare members and sites in the months ahead!
