It is time again to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding efforts of our local Landcare volunteers. This year our Awards Day will be held at our Community Nursery at Woolgoolga on Sunday 15th of September. It will be a great opportunity for our members to have a look around the nursery and see what is growing! Nominations are now open for the two awards that will presented on the day. If you think a Landcare volunteer or group are worthy of either award please nominate them now. Nominations are to be returned to the office by Monday 26th of August either in person or by email to [email protected].
Dee Wallace Perpetual Award for Excellence by a Landcare Group – This award honours the memory of the late Dee Wallace and recognises a Volunteer Group for its contribution to Landcare and to rehabilitating the environment.
